ABOUT US

Round Corners was open from July 2015 to January 2017 as an independent retail store located in the heart of Wokingham, a beautiful market town in the English countryside of Berkshire. We are now in a transitional stage of the business in which we are setting ourselves up with a stronger online presence and more alternative ways of still meeting our customers face-to-face, such as local markets. Further developments are to be posted on our Facebook page and via our Round Corners Blog which is to be launched in February 2017, together with our online shop.

Bruna and Dan Rolph are the owners of this unique and adaptable business venture, and both have had the opportunity to travel and see an eclectic variety of decor and architectural  styles from different countries around the globe. This reflected in how our lovely shop used to look and feel; an eclectic, colourful and unique shop. Despite our passion for travelling we are both quite "homy" people who believe it is important to be able to create a perfect home environment without damaging the planet in the process. For that reason, Round Corners developed into a beautiful shop in which a sizeable proportion of the products sold are sourced through fair trade registered suppliers or through small independent British companies. This belief inspires us to keep offering our customers quirky home accessories, charming gifts and unique furniture whilst seeking to be a positive contributor to people and communities  who supply us. In this second stage of our venture we are hoping to keep the ethical business idea very much alive by focusing even further on products certified as fairly traded.

Finally, we absolutely love helping our customers create a personalised home environment with that "I'm home" feeling we only get when we arrive home at the end of the day.
